Which nations will be competing in the 2023 World Ice Hockey Championships?
There are 16 different countries represented: Austria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Norway, the United States, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Both Russia and Belarus were left out.
After taking the trophy home to defend their championship in 2022, Finland is in a unique position as hosts and defending champions.
