2023 Grammy awards red carpet

65th Annual Grammy Awards: 2023 GRAMMYs Winners List

It’s been a big year for music, from Beyoncé’s unbreakable soul and Adele’s “Easy” to Bad Bunny’s hot-boy Verano and Harry Styles’ House party. But we now know who will need a U-Haul to transport all of their Grammy Awards trophies.

Beyonce entered with the most nominations (nine) and ended up with the most Grammy wins by a single artist ever: 32. But, while she won several awards at the ceremony, she missed out on three of the most important: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year, the last of which many (including EW) thought she had in her bag.

Trevor Noah returned as host for the third year after leaving his day job at The Daily Show. “When you’re doing a live award show, you can get so caught up in the production that you lose sight of what’s going on right in front of your eyes. That is, some of a generation’s greatest talents are performing live in front of you “Noah revealed this on EW’s Awardist podcast. “It’s just this live volcano erupting right in front of our eyes, and it’s breathtaking to be a part of it.”

What you need to know about the 2023 Grammys

The 2023 Grammy Awards are just around the corner, not nearly a full year after last year’s ceremony, and there is plenty of excitement in the air. After the pandemic disrupted the previous ceremonies, music’s greatest night has returned to Los Angeles. Trevor Noah, the comedian, will headline the awards presentation. Since 2021, he has been hosting music’s greatest night.

The nominations revealed in November contain several significant matchups for this year’s event. Adele and Beyoncé created gigantic, record-breaking albums last year. They are now nominated in several of the same categories, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.

Friends Lizzo and Harry Styles will also compete in pop categories. Beyoncé has received nine nominations this year, making her the most nominated artist. With 88 nominations apiece, she and her husband, Jay-Z, are the most nominated performers in Grammy history. Kendrick Lamar’s album, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers garnered eight nominations, while Adele and Brandi Carlile each received seven.

Taylor swift is nominated again at the ceremony for a third consecutive year with her chart-topping 10-minute version of “All too well” off of the re-recorded release of her 2011 album “Red”. Going into the awards, Swift is following the record-breaking success of her 10th studio album “Midnights” which was the first album since her “Reputation” in 2017 to sell over one million pure copies in its first week. She is nominated for the Song of the year, Best country song, Best music video, and Best song was written in visual media categories. Look back to watch the 2022 Grammys Winner list.

If the nominations are any indication, Beyoncé will reign supreme at the 2023 Grammy Awards. She leads the field and needs only four more to become the most-awarded musician in Grammy history. Given “Renaissance’s” universal acclaim, she is poised to break the record. Other music heavyweights, like Harry Styles and Adele, might derail the coronation.
