AJ Odudu And Will Best To Host ‘Big Brother’ U.K. Reboot On ITV

The pair will front the show, hosting weekly evictions and quizzing housemates.

After much speculation, ITV announced Tuesday that AJ Odudu and Will Best will be the hosts of Big Brother UK, making it the first time there will be a hosting duo in the show’s history.

The pair will front the show, hosting weekly evictions and quizzing housemates. Additionally, they will also front a nightly live show debating all the “hot topics” inside the house.

“AJ and Will really are our perfect pairing as we prepare to reintroduce Big Brother to the next generation,” ITV Director of Reality Commissioning for ITV2 and ITVX Paul Mortimer said. “With a genuine chemistry, both of them will bring effortless wit, charm and heaps of character to their roles and we’re delighted to be working with them both again.”

Odudu is no stranger to Big Brother, hosting spinoff show Bit On The Side on Channel 5 with Rylan Clark. After her stint on BOTS, she hosted Comic Relief as part of the Eurovision family and presented backstage on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids.

“I couldn’t be happier,” Odudu said in a statement. “Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour – and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Best is known for hosting Dance, Dance, Dance for ITV as well as other projects for E4, T4, and BBC Three.

Odudu and Best will have major shoes to fill as the hosting role has been occupied by Davina McCall, Brian Dowling, and Emma Willis.
