Impact Rebellion 2023 preview

At Rebellion, a new champion will be crowned after Josh Alexander’s loss of the IMPACT World Title due to a torn triceps. Steve Maclin and KUSHIDA, Alexander’s two scheduled opponents, will now compete to become the new champion. At Sacrifice, Maclin and KUSHIDA were on opposing sides of a star-studded six-man tag team battle in which KUSHIDA used the Hoverboard Lock to finish him off. This happened only a day after Maclin made clear how obsessed he was with defeating Alexander and winning the IMPACT World Championship. Maclin must now get ready for a new foe, one who appears to have the upper hand. There will undoubtedly be a new IMPACT World Champion in Toronto, that much is certain. Who will leave Toronto with the gold slung around their waist—Steve Maclin or KUSHIDA?
