Impact Wrestling is hosting the professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event titled Rebellion. Rebellion 2023 takes place at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto on April 16, 2023. According to the Rebellion timeline, it’s going to be the fifth event of the series. A title fight between Steve Maclin and Kushida is the main event of the Rebellion pay-per-view.
Professional wrestling matches from the event will feature performers from previously written staged feuds and storylines. Wrestlers take on the roles of villains, heroes, or less distinct characters in well plotted situations that lead up to a wrestling match or series of matches. On Impact’s weekly television program, stories are created.

Impact Rebellion 2023 : Kushida vs Steve preview
Star of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Kushida once faced off against Kenny Omega for the IWGP junior heavyweight title, but unlike the AEW superstar, he has not yet attained the elusive next stage of wrestling success. This is mostly due to the fact that he continues to compete primarily at junior heavyweight, where he has had great success, but the 17-year-old pro is itching for more.
Maclin once seemed to be on the verge of having a breakthrough moment in the WWE, but the unlucky convergence of the pandemic’s start and his tag team partner Jaxson Ryker’s statements in support of President Donald Trump during the Black Lives Matter demonstrations in June 2020 put an end to any prospects for success. He has thrived at Impact, substantially gaining from working somewhere where he can establish his value.
Maclin has an advantage in strength, and, despite his stature, is very agile. On the other hand, Kushida brings his speed, athleticism, and seasoned expertise to this contest. Both athletes have good technical wrestling skills, but Kushida has a stronger high-flying game. At Rebellion 2023, two men will compete, but only one will emerge as the IMPACT World Champion.
