The 2023 Pinty’s Grand Slam will get under away this week at the iconic Mattamy Athletic Centre in Ontario, Canada as the top athletes from around the globe are here to showcase their mastery in front of the esteemed audience and Curling experts. The competition will start on 11th April with the finals scheduled to be played on April 16th. A total of 24 teams will be competing in this year’s campaign with men’s and women’s brackets going side by side.

The Curling Grand Slam of Pinty comprises six events, four of them dignified as majors and the remaining two as complementary. The Nationals, Masters, Open and Player’s championships are part of the majors while Tour Challenge and Champions Cup will be played on different rule sets.
Team Mouat from Scotland will be defending its Player’s Championship title for the third consecutive year in the men’s category while in the women’s bracket, it will be 2018 Olympic champion, Anna Hasselborg striving to make it two of two. In the Masters’ division, the Italian pride, Joël Retornaz will be facing a tough challenge from Bruce Mouat to keep a hold on to his crown while Kerri Einarson will be going toe to toe with her compatriot Tracy Fleury for the Masters gold.

The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling will kick start on 11th April inside the Mattamy Athletic Centre at 11:30 AM ET.
In draw 1, the defending champ Bruce Mouat will be up against Joël Retornaz to give the perfect start. At the same time, three other matches will be contested side by side.
The women’s tournament will start on the 13th of April with the opening match scheduled between Satsuki Fujisawa and Rachel Homan.
Both men’s and women’s finals will be played on Sunday, April 16th.
