How to Watch XFL 2023 live streams: schedule, teams, TV channels and mores

The XFL, a spring football league, is making a comeback with the season starting this Saturday. The league consists of eight teams that will play ten regular-season games, followed by two playoff rounds. All games will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, or FX, and will be available to stream on ESPN+.

The season opener will feature the Vegas Vipers and Arlington Renegades, playing at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas (ABC, ESPN+). Every game featuring the Renegades, Vipers, D.C. Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Orlando Guardians, San Antonio Brahmas, Seattle Sea Dragons, and St. Louis Battlehawks will be available to stream on ESPN+. The 2023 XFL playoffs will be televised on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2, and will also be available to stream on ESPN+.

In an attempt to encourage more returns on kickoffs while maintaining player safety, only the kicker and returner on kickoff plays will be allowed to move, until the ball is caught or after the ball has been on the ground for at least three seconds. This will be similar to the way the kickoff was in the 2020 XFL season. At the start of the kickoff, both teams will be lined up 5 yards apart.

Comprising of eight teams, the league is divided into North and South divisions. Below is a breakdown of the teams, their corresponding divisions, and their 2023 coaches

XFL North

XFL Schedule 2023

The XFL has released its 2023 regular-season schedule, featuring 10 games spread over 10 weeks, from Feb. 18 to Apr. 22. In total, 40 regular-season games will be played, followed by three playoff games comprising of two divisional matchups and one championship game. The playoffs are scheduled to take place in late April and mid-May.

All of the 2023 XFL games’ dates and corresponding TV channels have been released by the league.
