‘America’s Got Talent’ Renewed For Season 19 At NBC

The 18th season of ‘America’s Got Talent’ is on pace to become the summer’s most-watched summer broadcast

America’s Got Talent wrapped up their 18th season on Wednesday night and NBC also confirmed the summer staple will return for its 19th season next summer.

NBC officially announced AGT‘s renewal late Wednesday as fans now can look forward to the new spinoff in the winter and a new season next year. Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum will all return. Terry Crews is back as host.

The 18th season of America’s Got Talent is on pace to become the summer’s most-watched summer broadcast, averaging 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.53 million viewers.

Season 18 was also the most viral online for the show, with 2.9 billion video views since its premiere back in May. The show also passed new milestones on social media apps with YouTube surpassing 26 million subscribers and TikTok 10 million followers.

America’s Got Talent will return in January with a new spinoff, AGT: Fantasy League. Cowell, Mandel, and Klum will be joined by Mel B at the judge’s desk as she returns after nearly five years.

Fans can go on to the AGT app and vote for the talents they want to appear in the spin-off. From there, the judges will fill their teams of 10 as they help mentor the acts to help them win the competition.
