Channel Ten Announces ‘Big Brother Australia’ To Premiere November 9

A promotional video was released, revealing Leon Murray is back as the voice of Big Brother.

Big Brother Australia‘s highly anticipated return is just over a month away, as Channel Ten has announced the original social experiment is returning on November 9.

The show will make its first return to Channel Ten since 2008, with Mel Tracina welcoming the newest batch of housemates. These housemates will experience live nominations and live evictions, as well as any twists Big Brother throws their way.

“It’s been a big few months for Big Brother, who has been busy building a whole new pad and searching the country high and low for the perfect tenants. The hunt has paid off, and this year’s housemates are ready to become your new obsession,” the broadcaster said in a statement.

A promotional video was released, revealing Leon Murray is back as the voice of Big Brother. Murray first joined the show back in 2008 and was the main voice of the all-seeing eye during the show’s run on Channel Nine from 2012-2014.

Much like the return of Big Brother in the UK, this season, produced by Endemol Shine Australia, is expected to be a short run — lasting just four weeks.

The show is returning following its underwhelming final run on Channel 7, which saw the show bumped to a later timeslot due to poor ratings.
