Hunter Biden Defies House GOP Subpoena To Testify In Private

The president’s son also lashed out at the far-right Republicans, who have shamed him in recent weeks.

WASHINGTON — Hunter Biden defied a subpoena from the Republican-led House that called for him to testify behind closed doors at a deposition.

President Joe Biden‘s son said Wednesday that he has chosen to testify at a public hearing to answer questions from House Republicans but they have rejected his offer.

“For six years, I have been a target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer. I am here,” he said.

“I’m here, I’m ready,” Hunter Biden added outside the Capitol.

The president’s son also lashed out at the far-right Republicans, who have shamed him in recent weeks.

“They have lied over and over about every aspect of my personal and professional life, so much so that their lies have become false facts believed by too many people,” he said.
