U.S. Strikes Three Nuclear Facilities In Iran

Trump’s decision comes after days of uncertainty on whether the U.S. would make a move.

WASHINGTON (Fwrd Axis) — President Donald Trump announced on Saturday night that the United States has bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities, marking the first direct American military involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict.

Trump returned to the White House just after 7 p.m. eastern time to meet with his national security team. Less than an hour later, he wrote on Truth Social that the U.S. had completed a “very successful attack” on nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump said. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”

Trump’s decision comes after days of uncertainty on whether the U.S. would make a move on Iran. Trump spent days receiving a wide range of opinions but his MAGA base was split on the matter.

Trump told reporters on Friday that he was not interested in sending ground forces into Iran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday the United States strikes targeting the Islamic Republic will “result in irreparable damage for them.”

Trump addressed the nation on Saturday evening.

“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success,” he said.

Trump repeatedly warned that Iran must make peace or face “far greater” attacks.

“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” he said.

According to a U.S. official, B-2 stealth bombers were used in the strikes as well as Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from submarines in the region.

House Speaker Mike Johnson applauded the move.

“The military operations in Iran should serve as a clear reminder to our adversaries and allies that President Trump means what he says,” Johnson wrote on X.
