Apple Announces New Tech At March Spring Event

“We’ve transitioned nearly every product in the Mac lineup to Apple Silicon,” Cook said.

(Fwrd Axis) — Apple’s highly anticipated Spring event was held on Tuesday and the tech company announced a swarm of new products, gadgets, and accessories.

First, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced two new colors for its flagship iPhone 13. Fans can pre-order the phone in “green” and the iPhone 13 Pro in “alpine green” starting Friday. Also announced was an “upgrade” to the iPhone SE, which is the successor to the 2020 model but with 5G and the A15 chip.

The ‘new’ iPhone SE looks exactly like its 2020 model with a TouchID fingerprint sensor and a 4.7-inch rectangular display. It will go on sale with a $429 price tag, higher than the price of $399 a year ago.

The tech company then announced a new iPad Air, which will feature the M1 processor, megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens, which enables a feature called Center Stage. It will cost $599, with optional storage space and cellular upgrades.

Apple then announced its highly rumored Mac Studio, a display-less desktop computer. It is a cube-shaped aluminum box with USB-C ports and an SD card slot on the front. Additionally, Apple also announced a separate 27-inch display called Studio Display with 5K resolution.

The price tag is a hefty $1999 for the Mac Studio with an older M1 Max chip. The model with an M1 Ultra chip starts at $3999. The Studio Display starts at $1599.
