  • The film made $22.3 million in Thursday preview screenings alone.

The biographical thriller “Oppenheimer” came in second place with an impressive $80.1 through three days.

  • The Christopher Nolan directed film made $174.2 million in total this weekend, including international sales.

Go watch: Both Barbie and Oppenheimer are in theaters now and are expected to be the last big-name movies until September when Denzel Washington’s Equalizer 3 opens September 1.
