‘Big Brother Australia’ To Return To Dreamworld For Reboot Season On Channel 10

Channel 10 on Saturday confirmed Big Brother Australia is returning to its original home: Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast.

Filming is expected to take place from early November and conclude in early December. The show will air on 10 for six nights per week along with 24/7 live streaming online across all screens and social media platforms.

Mel Tracina, Cultural Correspondent for The Cheap Seats and National Radio Host on Nova, will host the series, replacing lost time presenter, Sonia Kruger.

“The Big Brother house is synonymous with Dreamworld, so bringing the OG format to its OG location feels right,” Tracina said in a statement. “We’re excited to be home (and in a new house that hopefully comes with an air fryer).”

“We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Big Brother back home to Dreamworld. This iconic show holds a special place in our story and in the hearts of millions of Australians,” Dreamworld CEO Greg Yong said.

Big Brother is supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.

“We’re proud to be part of this exciting new chapter and look forward to sharing the magic of Big Brother’s return with fans across the country. Welcome home, Big Brother,” he added.

The show returns to the Gold Coast after previously being filmed in Sydney for three seasons before the series was axed by Channel Seven in 2024.
