El Capitan Theatre To Host ‘FREE GUY’ Special Event

Twentieth Century Studios’ set to kick off with special opening night fan event on August 12th at 7pm (PT).

Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre is poised to present Twentieth Century Studios’ Free Guy August 13 through August 26, 2021. The occasion will celebrate with many one-of-a-kind keepsakes and experiences, including posing for a picture at a Free Guy themed photo op and seeing costumes from the movie. 
 
There will be a special Opening Night Fan Event on Thursday, August 12th at 7:00 PM. Guests will be among the first to see Free Guy and each ticket includes reserved seating, an Opening Night Fan Event Souvenir Credential with Lanyard, and other collectibles.  Tickets for this special opportunity are $25.00 per person, with no age restriction. D23 Gold Member Card holders will receive additional perks.
 
Daily showtimes for Twentieth Century Studios’ Free Guy starting Friday, August 13 are 12:00PM, 3:30PM, 7:00PM and 10:30PM. Showtimes and dates are subject to change, check local movie times. The film will be shown in Dolby VisionTM Laser Projection & Dolby Atmos® Audio Technology.

In Twentieth Century Studios’ epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, “Free Guy” is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a story by Lieberman. The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, p.g.a., Shawn Levy, p.g.a., Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.
