Stephen Curry Breaks Ray Allen’s Record For Most Three-Pointers Ever In NBA History

Curry came into the game needing just two threes to break the record.

NEW YORK (Fwrd Axis) — Stephen Curry made NBA history in New York on Tuesday night as he hit his 2,974th 3-pointer to pass Ray Allen’s record for most three-pointers in league history.

Curry came into the game needing just two threes to break the record. He hit his first three just one minute into the game and broke the record with a shot from the right-wing 7:33 remaining in the first quarter.

Curry raised his arms in the air as Madison Square Garden cheered. Curry hugged coach Steve Kerr, his teammates, and Allen, who was at the arena. He then gave the game ball to his parents, who were also in attendance.

To make Curry’s night even better, the Golden State Warriors got the 105-96 win over the Knicks. Curry finished with 22 points and five three-pointers to lead Golden State.
