Trump Says He Won’t Participate In Any More Debates With Harris

Trump has claimed the moderators from ABC were unfair in the debate.

THE STORY

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday he will not participate in any future debates against his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump first announced the news on Truth Social, which is contradicting recent assurances of his own aides.

“She was a no-show at the Fox Debate, and refused to do NBC & CBS. KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!” Trump posted on his social media platform. ” Trump wrote.

He claimed he won their first debate despite post-debate polls, pundits, and even some conservative commentators have said that Harris won.

GOING IN DEPTH

At a rally in Tucson, Arizona, Trump announced he would not be debating Harris again.

“So, because we’ve done two debates and because they were successful, there will be no third debate,” he said. “It’s too late anyway, the voting’s already begun.”

“We think we’ve discussed everything. We don’t think they want it either,” he added.

For her part, Harris spoke at two rallies in North Carolina on Thursday, calling for another debate after her strong performance in Tuesday’s initial matchup.

“Two nights ago, Donald Trump and I had our first debate, and I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate, because this election and what is at stake could not be more important,” Harris said.

The two candidates have not formally agreed to any other debates, but multiple networks have said they were in talks to schedule one.
