(Fwrd Axis) — Have the leftovers already spoiled on Big Brother? They will if houseguest Kyle Capener has anything to say about it.
The leftovers alliance formed during week three, leading to that epic blindside of Ameerah Jones and most recently, sending Nicole Layog home. However, it now seems one of the members of the alliance is now wavering and debating turning against one of their own but their intentions appear to be motivated by race.

During the late night hours of August 5, Kyle spoke to Head of Household Michael Bruner about wanting to work with Michael, Brittany Hoopes, Matthew Turner, and his showmance Alyssa Snider. Kyle doesn’t want to go against Monte Taylor or Joseph Abdin, so he rather they go sooner rather than later. What has fans seething is that Kyle grouped the POC houseguests, suggesting they are all in an alliance similar to the Cookout from Big Brother 23.
“I would not mind if Daniel goes. He has not been someone that I’ve trusted in this game,” Kyle said. “But that possibility of those six with that background, I mean, it looks very similar to the Cookout with a very diverse background. They’ve all expressed why they’re in this game. Joseph, more Middle Eastern representation in TV. Indy, there’s never been a Brazilian contestant or winner.
Wow!!! KKKyle now explicitly saying that he wants to target all of the racial/ethnic minorities in the house and his biggest fear is them uniting against him. Wants to align with Michael, Brittany, Alyssa and himself.

Everyone has those strong ‘why’s’ that all coincide. I look at our alliance and it’s like, it was great because it was based out of necessity and our backs were against the wall and that’s what brought us together. Take away that necessity or the fear of a bigger alliance out there … I don’t know. That’s my biggest fear right now.”
Kyle wants to form an alliance with Alyssa, Turner, Brittany, and Michael would mean it is an all-white alliance, leaving them going after the minority housemates. So far, three of the four evicted housemates on the current 24th season of Big Brother have been POC and it has fans worried the trend will continue.
Over the past 24 hours, fans have expressed their anger and disappointment on social media with “Kyle” “KKKyle” and “Cookout” all trending topics in the United States.
Kyle being “afraid of a bigger group” forming that resembles a “Cookout 2.0” is a prime example of how implicit biases that may be unintentional, nevertheless affect judgement.
For the past 4 weeks, 7 out of 8 #BB24 houseguests at risk of going home on eviction night were Black.

The fact that Kyle claims TERRANCE is a threat tells me all in need to know. Basically the black people are a threat because he assumes they’re going to get together.
I knew not to give that rat my trust. #BB24

I will never get over the fact that Kyle helped create an alliance and recruited Monte and Taylor to target two women of color and as soon as they do he decides it’s time to create an all white alliance to take out the rest of the bipoc people. He’s a horrible person. #bb24

production actually has to put a foot down with kyle. if his lil cookout 2.0 rhetoric runs there’s structurally no point in casting black and other visible minorities post-cookout ever again because they’ll be lumped together and exploited for game reason a la kkkyle #bb24

“They share very common purposes for being in this game,” Kyle told Michael about the POC houseguests in the house.
On Saturday, he added more fuel to the fire in a conversation with Michael and Brittany in the Head of Household bedroom, suggesting Monte has a final two with every POC houseguest despite having no evidence to support his claims.
“Monte and Ameerah from Day 1 had a final two. His reasoning was she is a strong African American woman that’s intelligent that he wanted to help and represent the season,” Kyle said. “Hearing his reasons why…he might view a Terrance final two, a Jasmine final two, an Indy final two, a Taylor final two, a Joseph final two…that’s where my concern kind of stems from is his reasoning why he partnered with Ameerah in the first place.”
The news is just the latest scandal to hit the Big Brother house this season. Last month, the show made headlines when fans called out the housemates for bullying Taylor Hale, an African American woman who had been ostracized from the house by her fellow housemates.
Hale, a former pageant queen, had been the target of Paloma Aguilar and other houseguests. Hale has been repeatedly referred to as “aggressive” and others have said they fear she will have a tantrum if she doesn’t get her away.
Host Julie Chen Moonves responded to the accusations in a series of interviews, calling out the toxicity of Big Brother fans.
“Microaggressions are real and they happen. I don’t think most people when they are committing it, that they are even aware of what they’re doing. I think that with the live feeds it is easy,” Chen said. “I think what we need to do is ask ourselves, ‘Who am I — who is anyone — to judge somebody else?’”
“We haven’t been in that pressure cooker situation. And a lot of times when someone is feeling insecure about themselves, or seeing another individual as a threat to their game, that’s when you see classic ‘Big Brother’ ‘I’m going to trash talk someone behind his or her back,’” she added.
Big Brother continues Sunday at 8/7c on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
The article has been updated to correctly show Kyle’s comments seeming to divide the house when it incorrectly stated it was Michael.
