Gani Khan became the second housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house on Friday night, becoming the first housemate to be voted out by the public.
AJ Odudu and Will Best hosted Friday’s live eviction, which was moved indoors due to Storm Amy. Gani lost out to Zelah Glasson in the head-to-head eviction vote.
AJ and Will presented from the Late And Live Studio, where Gani gave his first eviction interview since leaving the house just minutes before.
“I seriously don’t know what to even say right now,” Gani told Will as they walked to the Late & Live studio.
During his exit interview with AJ and Will, Gani admitted he wanted to share more of himself while on the show.
“I believe that I wasn’t saved because viewers did not get a chance to see more of me,” he told the hosts.
Gani’s eviction came just a day after he revealed a personal story of how marriage was not for him because it was forced onto him by his father.
“I was so open-minded, even coming from a religious background,” Gani told Jenny. “From 2022 to 2024 I was really exploring bisexuality. But at the end of 2023 my dad suddenly said, ‘How long are you going to avoid marriage? Please marry.’ I couldn’t say no.”
Later on Big Brother: Late & Live, AJ and Will revealed the housemates
“It was my cousin,” he told a shocked Jenny.
Big Brother continues Sunday at 9pm BST on ITV2 and ITVX.
