Bobby Shmurda’s music releases since his release from prison have been quite below par, as none of them have wowed us in the way we expected.
In September, he released his comeback single, “No Time for Sleep Freestyle,” and in October, he released another new song, “Cartier Lens,” both of which fizzled out. While fans wait for Bobby Shmurda to get back to his old self, he posted and then deleted a message on Instagram explaining the delay. Bobby Shmurda stated that he is not in charge of his music releases, implying that his music is controlled by his label. The rapper signed a management deal with Roc Nation earlier this year.
The rapper in a now-deleted Instagram post wrote, “I ain’t been in charge of my music since I was 19 years old and I just turned 27 and honestly idk when sh*t dropping so don’t ask me shit go ask them mf’s since they wanna control everything!!!!!!!”
