Last Chance To Take Action And Earn Global Citizen Festival Tickets

New York, NY (Fwrd Axis) – Global Citizen has been one of the largest movements setting their sites on and actively making change for good in humanitarian efforts involving poverty, equality, and sustainability. In its 10th year, the Global Citizen Festival has brought millions together to raise awareness and drive people to take action, from petitions to direct support of organizations geared towards making the world a better place and our role as stewards of Earth into a more meaningful experience.

 

How to earn tickets for NYC

Today begins the final drawing period to earn tickets to this year’s Global Citizen Festival to be held in New York City’s Central Park Great Lawn on September 24. The drawing period ends on September 19. Thousands of attendees have already earned their way to the upcoming event by downloading the Global Citizen app, taking action to earn points, and entering those points into the drawing.

The 2022 Global Citizen Festival lineup includes some of the biggest performers in pop and rock music today. Heavy metal legends Metallica will be headlining the festival in NYC. Other amazing performers joining the cause are Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, MÅNESKIN, Mariah Carey, Mickey Guyton, Rosalía, Angélique Kidjo, and Billy Porter. Actress and Global Citizen Ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas will host the Central Park event.

 

Global Citizen Festival: Accra

Elsewhere in the world, Global Citizen Festival: Accra will also be taking place on September 24 at Black Star Square in an effort to strengthen their pan-African movement. Artists performing for the event include Usher, Gyakie, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Stormzy, SZA, TEMS, and Uncle Waffles. Global Citizen Festival: Accra will be hosted by award-winning actor and activist Danai Gurira, alongside a variety of presenters.
