(Fwrd Axis) — Two of FWRD AXIS News’ most respected writers are getting promoted to more prominent roles, according to an announcement by the company on Monday morning.
Miamii Mansour is becoming the website’s Foreign Correspondent, covering major news in the United Kingdom, while Anderson will be the lead television reporter covering television news from the United States and around the globe.
The new assignments point to a new direction for the company, which begins its second year of existence in 2022. Meanwhile, fans of FWRD AXIS will begin to see changes as Anderson will also host a new podcast later this year covering major stories and breaking news.
While Anderson’s role is expanding, he will remain the Chief Political Reporter covering the White House and all major Washington events such as the elections in 2022 and in 2024.
FWRD AXIS founder David Bradford made the announcement on Monday morning with the roles becoming effective immediately.
“Stephen has been the driving force of Fwrd Axis over the past year of its existence. The vision we share in delivering high quality and accurate news is what prompted us to create and develop this organization,” Bradford said in a statement. “His passion motivates me. From his political coverage to entertainment, Stephen’s ability to channel the appropriate voice and command of language to create engaging content is invaluable.”
Anderson is no stranger to covering television news. He was on the writing staff for Reality Box U.K., which closed up shop in 2021 after seven years. He’s covered America’s Got Talent, Big Brother in three different countries, and The Apprentice in Australia and the U.K., bringing global views to the websites he’s written for.
“I’m excited to begin the year going back to the love of television and bring a global audience to FWRD AXIS,” Anderson said. “Stepping into this new role will feel like going back to my roots, I just hope my Twitter followers are ready for those TV show-related tweets.”
Mansour will step into a new role covering predominantly news in the U.K. She will also assist Anderson in being a guest on the upcoming podcast later this year for a view across the pond on the world’s events.
“Miamii has her finger on the pulse of everything in the U.K. and Europe,” Bradford said. “Her style is unique and her passion is felt in every word she writes for Fwrd Axis. Her role as Foreign Correspondent adds a much-needed branch of stories that our audience abroad wants to see and her point of view comes from a place that is close to home and close to her heart. We’re lucky to have found Miamii.”
“I’m really excited to be the Foreign Correspondent, reporting predominantly on U.K. news,” Mansour said. “I look forward to growing the Fwrd Axis readership and growing as a writer and reporter.”
All of Monday’s announcements were about current staff and future projects for the company. Further announcements are expected about what’s to come for FWRD AXIS in the coming months.
