Nancy Wilson caught up for a virtual moment with New & Approved host Matt Pinfield to discuss her debut solo album ‘You and Me’.

With a career spanning decades in the business, Wilson has just set out on a solo endeavor that puts her creativity and her passions front and center.

Wilson has already established her notoriety when she gained prominence with her sister Ann in their band Heart, for which is a part of the coveted Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, and this time around the accomplished musician has borrowed inspiration from her experiences and friendships to create something special with her official debut.

Wilson talks with Matt about growing up with her sister ad being influenced by her family and shares the album’s title track is a nod to her relationship with her mother. The project also features a tribute to her late friend Eddie Van Halen, which she explains as a song that she wanted to do right be Eddie.

Mary goes on to reflect on her friendship with Halen, the first time she saw Led Zeppelin play live, early career moments, and much more.
