(Fwrd Axis) — Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon revealed on Monday he tested positive for COVID-19 over the holiday break.
Taking to his Instagram, Fallon shared a photo of himself in an isolation room. He thanked the medical professionals and the staff at NBC for having strict protocols in place for the staff of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid. I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms,” he wrote.
“Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job,” he continued before joking, “and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What ‘chu talkin’ about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news,” Fallon added.
Several celebrities sent their thoughts and well wishes for Fallon, including Reese Witherspoon.
“Hope you had a speedy recovery!” Witherspoon wrote.
The 47-year-old comedian recovered in time for The Tonight Show’s return from the Christmas holiday break. Anthony Anderson, Adam Devine, and Carly Pearce appeared on the show Monday evening.
