The Challenge: USA, a spinoff of the long-running MTV show, will air after with its own 90-minute premiere.

“The inaugural broadcast of The Challenge: USA further underscores Paramount’s strategy of leveraging its popular franchises across the company’s global platforms,” CBS said in a statement.

The season will feature former cast members from SurvivorBig BrotherThe Amazing Race, and Love Island. They will compete in “one of the most unpredictable and demanding games of their lives, living in a constant state of paranoia and unable to trust anyone but themselves,” according to the press release.

The winner will take home $500,000 and the players will be competing for a spot on The Challenge: World Championship, which will air later this year on Paramount+.

T.J. Lavin will host The Challenge: USA while Julie Chen Moonves returns as host of Big Brother.

Meanwhile, Big Brother will see another crop of new houseguests compete in a three-month power struggle to take home the cash prize. Last season saw Xavier Prather take home the record $750,000 prize and be crowned the first African American winner in show history.
