Holly, Michael, And Jane To Face First ‘Big Brother Australia’ Eviction

The housemates were given five nomination points by Big Brother to nominate.

Big Brother Australia is rolling through its first week, and on Wednesday night, the housemates nominated for the first time, deciding who would face the first eviction of the series alongside Jane.

Jane is at risk of going home after she failed to complete her secret mission of hiding from the housemates for 90 seconds. As a result, she was automatically put up for eviction.

The housemates were given five nomination points by Big Brother to nominate. They could use them by splitting three and two points, or they could put four on one housemate and the other point for another.

After all the housemates nominated, Holly received the most points with 21, followed by Michael with 13. They both will now join Jane in facing eviction on Sunday. Voting is now open, and the Australian public will be voting to save.

Big Brother returned earlier this week, making it the broadcaster’s biggest reality launch of the year.

The series launch attracted 1.5 million viewers, with an average total national audience of 774,000 — up 53% from the show’s 2023 launch.

The show was No. 1 for both the 16-39s and 25-54s demographics on Sunday night, commanding 53.5% and 42.6% respectively. “Big Brother” was also Channel 10’s biggest reality launch of 2025 in 16-39s, and its biggest ever on 10 Streaming — up 107%.

The 24/7 live stream has also been a smash hit for viewers. On TikTok, the live stream has had 320,000 unique viewers since launch, and growing, with 828,000 likes.

Monday night’s episode attracted 631,000 viewers as host Mel Tracina welcomed the 13th housemate, Jane, into the house. Meanwhile, Tuesday’s show had 626,000 viewers as fans saw the conclusion of the first shopping task.

TikTok’s live stream is up 337%. It’s officially the No. 1 show for the key 16-39 demo and delivering Network 10’s biggest ever entertainment live stream.

Big Brother Australia continues Monday to Friday at 7.30pm, and Sundays at 7.00pm, exclusively on Channel 10.
