(Fwrd Axis) — Channel 7 announced its first new housemate for Big Brother Australia 2022 titled Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders, which will see new housemates in competition against eight returning housemates from the past.
Josh is a 32-year-old former international model from Byron Bay and admits he has no idea how to play the game. However, he has plans to stir things up and ruffle some feathers when the game kicks off later this year on Channel 7.
“We are here to win a game,” he tells his housemates in the promo. “You wanna keep playing a happy family? We are not here to make best friends temporarily. I’ll put a target on your backs too.”
“It’s good to make friends and win the game!” one housemate responds.
Josh is one of 15 new housemates this season competing against eight returning housemates as they are cut off from the outside world with cameras and microphones recording their every move. Can Josh become the greatest player the game has ever seen?
“I want to be a leader. I got no desire to be a sheep. I probably will get under people’s skin,” he says.
With eight returning housemates coming to play again, Josh isn’t too excited for their comeback.
“You’re fanning out over celebrities!” he tells other newbies as they gush over the Royalty arrivals. “Oh well, some more frickin’ nobodies to run over.”
The first five housemates include an intimacy coach, a Big Brother superfan, a fitness fanatic, and an entrepreneur. Returning housemates include Tully Smyth, Drew, and Tim from Big Brother 2013 and Estelle Landy from Big Brother 2012.
Big Brother Australia: Royalty vs New Contenders airs soon on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
