Joe Elliott Talks Deff Leppard New Box Set & Reflects On Career Highlights With Freddie Mercury

Lead singer and founding member of the famed band Def Leppard, Joe Elliott, stops the New & Approved series to speak with host Matt Pinfield on the latest installment of the Def Leppard box sets.

The limited-edition ‘Volume Three’ box sets feature all recordings from the band in the 2000s and also has the original packaging for both vinyl and cd formats. Elliott tells Pinfield that the box set started coming together pre-pandemic but 2020 gave him the opportunity to flush out all the material used.

Elliott goes on to detail and reflect on career highlights with the late Freddie Mercury, being inspired by the Beatles during his childhood, how some of his bands’ biggest songs came about, and much more.
