(Fwrd Axis) — It’s been eight months since 25-year-old geologist Daniel Robinson went missing after leaving his job in Buckeye, Arizona on June 23, 2021.
Daniel’s story has bothered me since it made headlines and watching his father, David Robinson, desperately search for his son while authorities show little urgency is heartbreaking.
“I’m confused as a father. I don’t know what they are doing. I do reach out to them and hopefully they’ll bring in the outside resources that I need.” — said David Robinson, during an interview with BNC News
David moved to Phoenix a week after Daniel vanished in the desert. He launched PleaseHelpFindDaniel.com almost immediately which is powered by various volunteer groups, a GoFundMe account created to help with expenses, and the love of a father determined to find his son.
Twenty-six days after Daniel went missing, his 2017 Jeep Renegade was found in a ravine a little less than 4 miles away from his job site. Daniel’s keys, wallet, and phone were found, but he wasn’t in the area.
The airbags were deployed and the vehicle was in a rollover crash. Private investigator, Jeff McGrath, who was hired by David Robinson, also confirmed the ignition was turned on more than 40 times after the crash.

These are just a few of the mysterious details surrounding the missing person case of Daniel Robinson — a story made for the ID Network that didn’t get the same coverage as Gabby Petito because he’s Black. Joseph Petito, the father of Gabby, even expressed his concern on Twitter over the lack of coverage Daniel is receiving.
“Our next goal is to continue pushing forward to find out what happened to Daniel, even if it means no help from law enforcement. The way that Daniel’s case was handled from day one by law enforcement can easily cause him to become one of the many missing without ever having answers.” — from the Please Help Find Daniel website
Human remains were found in the Arizona desert during the search but they weren’t Daniel’s. The Special Operation Search conducted by David Robinson on March 8, 2022 involved his team searching the well that his son was last seen with cameras lowered over 400 feet into the ground.
When you look at the facts, place a circle around Daniel’s abandoned Jeep, and expand that circle in each direction, there’s no reason Daniel should still be missing. After analyzing this case, I honestly don’t think Daniel was in his vehicle when it crashed and foul play shouldn’t be ruled out.
So, what do we know?
