Report: JoJo Siwa To Join U.K.’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’

Show producers are hoping the American singer and reality personality will draw a big U.S. audience.

Jojo Siwa has reportedly signed up for the newest series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ UK, which is set to launch next Monday on ITV1 and ITVX.

The Daily Mail reported Monday that show producers are hoping the American singer and reality personality will draw a big U.S. audience for the show.

The 21-year-old rose to fame on the reality show Dance Moms before joining ‘Dancing With The Stars’, becoming the first celebrity to have a same-sex dance partner on the show.

The news comes after reports that U.S. singer Macy Gray pulled out of the show at the last minute.

“Macy’s fury at being voted out as Toad In The Hole earlier this year [on the ‘Masked Singer UK’] was such a talking point and bosses thought she would also make a great housemate,” a show source told The Sun.

Other names rumoured to join the show include Patsy Palmer, Chesney Hawkes and Angelica Bell. Former ‘Love Island’ star Chris Hughes and Olympic legend Daley Thompson are also reportedly signed up for the show.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ airs at 9pm BST (4pm ET) on ITV1 and ITVX on April 7.
