America’s Got Talent is nearing its conclusion next week and Wednesday night saw the viewers decide the final five acts who made the finals in a tense results show.

11 acts performed on Tuesday night and host Terry Crews revealed the top three acts would advance into the finals. However, the three acts in the middle were in danger of going home. He announced Lea Kyle, Unicircle Flow, and Victory Brinker were all on the bubble as the vote opened for the instant save.

Judge Simon Cowell was caught off guard by the result but struck an uplifting tone with the acts.

“You’re fourth, fifth, and sixth, so you’ve done incredibly well,” he said. “Two of you are going into the finals.”

Terry then announced the first act to make the finals was Northwell Health Nurse Choir, judge Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer. They were followed by Brooke Simpson, who previously competed on The Voice. Rounding out the top three was comedian Josh Blue, who won Last Comic Standing in 2006.

After a performance from Deadly Games, Terry returned with the results from the instant save. He revealed Lea Kyle had won the most viewer votes and took the fourth spot in the finals.

The final decision came down to the judges. Sofia, Heidi, and Simon picked Victory to move on with Howie the lone judge to vote for Unicircle Flow. This made the child opera singer the final act in the finals.

Here are the top 10 acts of Season 16: Northwell Health Nurse Choir, Brooke Simpson, Josh Blue, Lea Kyle, Victory Brinker, Jimmie Herrod, Dustin Tavella, World Taekwondo Demonstration Team, Gina Brillion, and Aiden Bryant.
