After 83 days of gameplay, a controverisal showmance, and the return of a legend, the 27th season of Big Brother came to an end on Sunday night with Ashley Hollis being crowned the winner of the $750,000 prize.
Hollis, along with Morgan Pope and Vince Panaro faced off in the final three part Head of Household (HoH) competition. Morgan won part one and automatically advanced to the final round. In part two, Ashley got the win, which led to an explosive outburst from Vince after he realized he did not read the instructions properly.
“It’s fucking right,” Vince screamed. “What fucking day was it?!”
“I don’t deserve to win. I’m fucking awful! Loser,” he said to himself after losing.

In the final part, Morgan and Ashley had to guess the true and false statements by the jurors from over the course of the game. Ashley dominated the contest, answering four questions correctly to Morgan’s one. This resulted in Ashley’s first Head of Household win of the season — coming at the right time!
Ashley chose to evict Morgan, bringing Vince with her to the final two. In the jury questions round, it was obvious that the jury did not respect Vince’s game and Ashley noticed, giving one closing argument that will live in Big Brother history.
“To me, a Big Brother winner is someone who turns their enemies into allies, not their allies into enemies, which the counterpart next to me did,” she said when asked why she should win over Vince.
Ashley won the season in a 6-1 vote with Morgan being the lone vote for Vince. The win for Ashley proves that social strategy truly is what the show is all about — not just competition wins but how you treat people.
Vince received $75,000 for coming in second place, and Keanu Soto was awarded $50,000.
