‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Season 3 Premiere Recap: Let’s Go To War

The celebrities were locked away and Big Brother has given them a three-week supply of energy drinks to keep them going.

(Fwrd Axis) — After a three-year hiatus, Celebrity Big Brother returned on Wednesday night with a new cast of famous faces ready to battle it out for a big cash prize.

The episode kicked off with all the celebrities entering the house one by one due to COVID-19 protocols. After everyone was inside, they toasted to the season and everyone seemed to be getting along. Host Julie Chen Moonves explained the season will be played in overdrive, which will include two evictions per week.

Carson Kressley quickly tried to get an alliance going with Todrick Hall, Shanna Moakle, and Cynthia Bailey-Hall.

The first HoH of the season saw the 11 celebrities hanging on for dear life as they were sprayed with several goopy objects in an attempt to make them fall off. Chris Kattan fell first after less than two minutes and it would eventually come down to Todrick, Teddi Mellencamp, and Miesha Tate.

Todrick was next to drop, leaving Miesha Tate and Teddi Mellencamp. The Real Housewife tried to make a deal to keep herself safe but Miesha would not agree, saying it’s too early to make these types of deals.

Teddi drops and Miesha is the first Head of Household of the season. However, Julie hints at a twist, saying Miesha is not the only one who will have power this week.

Julie revealed a new game-changing power is getting unleashed in the house. She explained The Gala Gift, which holds a “game-changing power” and the box will be “a blessing for one person, and a curse for another.”

And with that, the celebrities were locked away and Big Brother has given them a three-week supply of energy drinks to keep them going.

Who will Miesha nominate for eviction? And what exactly is that game-changing power? Find out when Celebrity Big Brother continues on Thursday night at 9/8c on CBS.
