Podcast host Joe Rogan said Friday that tech billionaire Elon Musk knew Donald Trump would win the 2024 Election hours in advance due to an app he created to monitor election data.
Speaking to comedian Theo Von on the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan covered a variety of topics but also dropped a bombshell claim that the Tesla CEO had prior knowledge that Trump would win the election.
“Apparently, Elon created an app and he knew who won four hours before the results,” Rogan said. “So as the results were coming in, four hours before they called it, Dana White told me Elon was like ‘I’m leaving. It’s over. Donald won’. He just fucking [laughs] somehow or another.”
“It’s like, I don’t know where he’s pulling his data from but he had like the most accurate data,” Rogan added.
Rogan’s comments came just hours after it was reported Musk joined two different phone calls with President-elect Donald Trump and world leaders on Wednesday.
If Musk did have some advanced knowledge of the election results, it will lead to doubts about election integrity and the fairness of the overall process. Pollsters have come under fire in the past three election cycles for underestimating Trump’s level of support.
Fwrd Axis News did not receive a reply from the Trump transition team when requesting comment for this story.
The revelation is further proof of much influence Musk already has inside Trump world and how close he has gotten to the incoming president. Trump repeatedly said on the campaign trail that he would consider making the 53-year-old part of his administration in a second term.
Musk, who owns social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, campaigned for Trump in the final weeks of the 2024 race.
Rogan endorsed Trump 24 hours before Election Day following his podcast taping with Musk.
“He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast,” Rogan wrote on X.
Elsewhere in the episode, Rogan touched on why Vice President Kamala Harris did not make an appearance on his show despite being invited.
Rogan claims Harris’ team insisted on having certain topics off-limits and wanted the show to be edited.
“There’s no editing,” he said. “We’re not going to edit.”
