Coheed And Cambria Announce Co-Headlining Tour With Taking Back Sunday, Foxing

Jimmy Fontaine

Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday are joining forces for a co-headlining North American tour this summer, set to kick off in August 2025. The tour follows Coheed’s previously announced spring trek with Mastodon. As a teaser for what’s to come, Coheed has dropped a new single, “Someone Who Can,” from their highly anticipated album The Father of Make Believe.

The summer tour will run from August 16th to September 21st, with support from Foxing. Stops include major cities like St. Louis, Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles, with tickets already available via Ticketmaster.

Before hitting the summer circuit, Coheed and Cambria will be on the road with Mastodon for a co-headlining spring tour, starting May 10th in Salem, Virginia, and wrapping up June 8th in Waukee, Iowa. Tickets for this run are also on sale now.

Both tours will support The Father of Make Believe, set for release on March 14th, which has already made waves as one of the most anticipated metal and hard rock albums of 2025. Meanwhile, Taking Back Sunday will be touring in support of their latest release, 152, which dropped in October 2023.

In addition to these tours, Coheed will also perform at the Tool in the Sand festival in the Dominican Republic, happening March 7th-9th. The festival will feature performances by Tool, Mastodon, Primus, Eagles of Death Metal, and more. Later in the year, Coheed will headline their own S.S. Neverender cruise in November, with Thursday, L.S. Dunes, and other acts joining the lineup.

Speaking about their new single, “Someone Who Can,” Coheed’s frontman Claudio Sanchez shared, “When you’re growing up, you’re constantly trying to make sense of a world that’s always changing. Over time, it’s comforting to realize that you’ll never truly have everything figured out.”
