World Watches As Trump And Musk Have Explosive Feud Online

The spat comes less than a week after Musk leave his role at the Department of Government Efficiency.

WASHINGTON — The tension between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk exploded in front of the world on Thursday, filled with personal attacks and threats.

The war of words began when Trump slammed Musk’s comments the president’s so-called “big, beautiful bill” — which is currently making its way through Congress. Trump said the government could cut its ties with Musk’s businesses.

“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Musk responded back by sharing links between Trump and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk wrote. “Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,” Musk added.

The world’s richest man also responded “yes” to a post that called for Trump’s impeachment.

“I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot.”

The spat comes less than a week after Musk leave his role at the Department of Government Efficiency.

On Truth Social, Trump suggested the reason for Musk’s attacks were due to the bill cutting out a tax credit meant to incentivize electric vehicle purchases.

Elon’s upset because we took the EV mandate, which was a lot of money for electric vehicles and they’re having a hard time with electric vehicles and they want us to pay billions of dollars in subsidy,” Trump said. “Elon knew this from the beginning.”

Tesla is the biggest electric vehicle maker in the United States and saw its stock tumble on Thursday, losing over $100 billion.
