Seth Meyers Tests Positive For Covid-19, Cancels Shows For Week

The news comes just one day after Jimmy Fallon announced his positive Covid-19 test result.

(Fwrd Axis) — Seth Meyers announced on Tuesday he’s tested positive for Covid-19 and is canceling Late Night With Seth Meyers for the rest of the week.

Meyers took to Twitter, announcing the news, saying he was feeling fine, and joked for fans to tune in next Monday to see the location they pass off as a studio next.

“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” the host tweeted. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”

Meyers returned to Late Night on Monday with its first new show after the holiday break.

The news comes just one day after Jimmy Fallon announced his positive Covid-19 test result. Fallon took to Instagram to post a photo of himself in an isolation room. He thanked the medical professionals and the staff at NBC for having strict protocols in place for the staff of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid. I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms,” he wrote.
