Elon Musk Joined Phone Call Between Trump And Zelenskyy

Tech mogul Elon Musk joined two different phone calls with President-elect Donald Trump and world leaders on Wednesday.

Musk, who owns social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, campaigned for Trump in the final weeks of the 2024 race. The 53-year-old was not scheduled to be on the call but joined briefly. Musk informed Zelenskyy that he would continue to support Ukraine through his Starlink satellites.

Axios first reported Musk being a part of the conversations and then it was later confirmed by other outlets.

Trump transition team officials declined requests for comment Friday.

Musk has also had phone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal. On Wednesday, Musk also joined a call between Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which took place while Trump was “at a family dinner” with the billionaire businessman.

The revelation that Musk is joining Trump’s calls with world leaders shows just how much influence he already has inside Trump world and how close he has gotten to the incoming president.

While out on the campaign trail, Trump repeatedly said he wanted Musk to be a part of his administration in a second term.
