Netflix Drops Trailer For ‘The Circle’ Season 4, Revealing Increased $150,000 Prize

The Circle premieres May 4 on Netflix.

(Fwrd Axis) — The Circle is back and a new crop of players are ready to lie, cheat, and do whatever it takes to become the most popular person in the game.

Netflix dropped the trailer for the upcoming fourth season on Wednesday, labeling it the “spiciest season yet” with even more catfishing, more drama, more money, and surprises awaiting a new group of contestants. As always, the goal is to become the most popular player in the game and win the $150,000 cash prize.

In the trailer, one woman, who appears to be catfishing as an attractive male says, “All the players are going to fall into my trap and win me that money.”

However, not everything is what it seems in The Circle and you need to keep your eyes peeled.

“Chile, I’ve got two eyes in the back of my head and I’m watching you bitches,” one man says.

Towards the end of the trailer, one contestant wonders whether some “secret celebrities” have entered The Circle chat. There’s a hint that former Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton may be entering the game for a bit of fun, with the trailer ending on Mel’s iconic cackling laugh.

While they aren’t shown outright, the Spice Girls members’ silhouettes appear and they do throw up the group’s signature peace sign pose. There’s also a shot of someone wearing the leopard-print pants Mel B was known for.

It may be another catfish after Lance Bass’ assistant Lisa Delcampo catfished the group in Season 2, pretending to be the *NSYNC boyband member. We’re not saying Netflix got the two pop icons to appear on the show but if anyone has the budget to make it happen, it is Netflix.

The Circle is a show based on the British TV series of the same name, which was canceled late last year. It then spawned creations in France and Brazil.
