(Fwrd Axis) — The final two weeks of Celebrity Apprentice Australia kicked off Monday with the celebrities going viral and one epic final boardroom leading to another famous face being cut from the process.
The episode kicks off following that explosive boardroom, which saw Beck get eliminated. Lord Sugar sets the remaining celebs a task to go viral with the help of social media stars The Uninspired Employee, aka Jack and Matt. For the task, the celebrities must conceive, script, shoot and edit a short form piece of content that will go viral.
Before we get to the task, Darren and Ronnie have some making up to do. Darren swallows his pride and extends the olive branch first.
“I apologise to you, we get in that Boardroom sometimes and you get carried away with the competition, and things get said,” Darren apologies.
Ronnie doesn’t accept the apology but does decide to forgive Darren for the sake of the team.
Darren as Project Manager decides on a skit about tradies and their never-ending smoko breaks. Meanwhile, over on Team Innovate, Turia decides to poke fun at themselves as washed-up celebs with their idea despite Amy Shark being Project Manager.
Speaking of Amy, she has a secret plan to get rid of Benji by making a secret deal with him.
“I want to start an alliance because I think he [Benji] is a threat,” she says.
In the boardroom, The Inspired Unemployed’s give their verdict and award the win to Team Collaborate. Darren wins $20,000 for his charity.
Amy is in disbelief over Team Innovate’s loss and says the social media stars made the wrong decision.
“I think it was just a really bad choice,” she says. “They have no idea they picked the wrong team.”
It was then time to find out who was at fault for the loss of the task.
“Turia you said the narrative was your responsibility didn’t you?” Lord Sugar asks.
Lord Sugar is frustrated by Turia’s dishonesty and decides that he will hold her accountable whether she admits to being the writer or not.
“Turia, you’re fired,” the boss declares.
Celebrity Apprentice Australia continues on Tuesday night at 7.30 pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
