‘The Circle’ Recap: Things Get Off To A Spicy Start

The fourth season of the social media competition officially dropped on Netflix Wednesday, featuring new contestants and two music icons.

(Fwrd Axis) — The Circle is back and things are off to a truly spicy start in the famous apartments with their shot to win $150,000.

The fourth season of the social media competition officially dropped on Netflix Wednesday, featuring new contestants and two music icons.

In case you missed it, here’s a mini recap of the first four episodes:

The first players to enter the game were Frank, Yu Ling, Alyssa, Crissa, and Bru, who are all playing as themselves. John and Parker will be catfishing as their parents. As the game begins, John/Carol and Parker/Paul begin interacting and some red flags immediately are raised.

In the first Circle Chat of the season, everyone got to know each other and then it came time for the first ratings. As always, the players rated each other based only on first impressions. Frank and Momma Bear Carol are the first influencers of the season after topping the ratings.

The two influencers then headed to the Hangout to discuss who they wanted to block from The Circle. They would get stuck on Paul/Parker, who came in last, and Yu Ling who was sixth. After much debate, Frank and Momma Bear Carol decided to block Parker from the game.

Before leaving the game, Parker had the choice to meet one player. Everyone freaked out, particularly the two influencers, but in the end, Parker chose to go see Carol/John, who both were shocked the other was catfishing in the game.

Previewing next week’s episode, two new players will join the Circle with one familiar face from a previous season, one of which is Trevor, the husband of The Circle season 2 winner DeLeesa. Then one of the new influencers will be sent to block a player in person.

The Circle continues next Wednesday on Netflix with another batch of four episodes.
