GREEN BAY, Wisc. — With 19 days until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris blitzed through the battleground state of Wisconsin on Thursday, slamming former President Donald Trump for referring to himself as “the father of ITF”.

Harris held events and rallies in three cities across the state with the clock counting down to November 5 as she maintains her focus on the “blue wall” states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Speaking in Green Bay to a crowd of over 4,000 people, Harris played a series of video clips of Trump, where he was seen praising himself for having overturned abortion-rights protections set out in Roe v. Wade.

The crowd booed in response as the final clip of Trump attending a town hall on Wednesday that was full of Trump-supporting women, calling himself “the father of IVF”.

“It just gets more unbelievable sometimes. Now he calls himself the father of IVF? What does that even mean?” Harris said as she laughed. “He is the one who, by the way, is responsible for it being at risk in the first place.”

After the clips played, several women in the crowd could be seen nodding and expressing agreement.

“Just like Wisconsin state motto tells us, we will move forward,” Harris told the crowd. “We will move forward, because ours is a fight for the future, and it is a fight for freedom.”

Harris’ speech focused on economic issues like supporting small businesses and lowering the cost of housing, including support for first-time home buyers.

At one point, the topic turned to reproductive rights and the Vice President was heckled by a group of anti-abortion protesters.

“Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” she quipped. “I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street.”

A senior campaign official said Harris will continue to use her rallies as a platform to remind women that Trump’s first-term actions were responsible for abortion bans across the country.

Across three different cities, Harris took on a number of issues and called out Trump, most notably, when he was asked at a recent town hall about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“What did Donald Trump say? He called it ‘a day of love,’” Harris said to groans. “The American people are exhausted with his gaslighting. We are ready to turn the page!”
